Bimmer’s owner and president Philip H. Tripp began working on classic Chevrolets long before becoming a scholarship recipient at LTI automotive tech school in north Texas. After scoring in the top ten on a school wide I.Q. exam, he was granted interviews with several local business owners who voted him “most likely to succeed.” Upon receiving such an honor, he was given a full scholarship and graduated at the top of his class with a 3.9 GPA. After graduation, Philip studied at the prestigious BMW repair training facility in New Jersey. With years of hard work in the BMW Masters training course called S.T.E.P, reserved for the best and brightest, he then became a certified BMW Master Technician. In December of 1997, BMW of Dallas, formerly John Roberts BMW, employed Philip as a technician and trainer. While working 12 years as a group leader in charge of new technicians, he gained the expertise necessary to open a luxury car repair business of his own. Taking pride in his work, Philip serves BMW and luxury car owners in Flower Mound and surrounding areas on a highly personal level by offering customized service with honesty and integrity.
Mr. Joey Cumbo joined the Bimmer Mobile Specialist team in 2010, bringing six years of experience as a BMW Master Technician.
