My family used to be clients of BMS about 6-8 years ago when they were mobile. We had a 2007 E60 BMW 525i. The reason for the low rating is because of the insane prices. Once, we were charged $450 for a battery. The work was done in about 10-15 minutes and the worker said it was a "special BMW battery" and charged that unbelievable price. The next time we got the battery changed, we got it done for about $90 at our nearest mechanic. BMS charged over $2300 for the services we got on our car and it was very overpriced. They charged hundreds of dollars for changing simple gaskets, while the local mechanic charged less, once again. They charge prices more than the dealer, which makes no sense. I believe that BMS is not worth it and that customers are better off going to the dealership or the local mechanic. We have a 2015 F15 X5 now and they were asking for $180 for an oil change. The dealer did the oil change for $150. I do not recommend BMS.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and for bringing your vehicle to us for service in the past. Our records show that the last time we serviced your vehicle was in 2013. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed in our pricing, and regret having lost you as a customer. As the owner of BMS, I would like to clarify that I am a BMW certified technician. In addition, all of our technicians have accredited certifications with many years of training and experience. I also wanted to get back to you about our pricing. For your vehicle, the price for an oil change is $135, not $180. We checked our records to confirm this is the quote we provided to you over the phone. Perhaps there was a miscommunication. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and everyone here at BMS works with honesty and integrity with all of our customers. Please feel free to call me at 214-766-1153 if we can be of further assistance.
